1 Days

We arrive at Yerevan Airport and transfer the group to a 3-star hotel in the capital of Armenia. Rest day and night in Yerevan.

2 Days

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel and pass the village of Tsaghkashen at an altitude of 2180m. Arrival at Lake Akna in the evening, hiking about 6 hours. We would set up the tents and sleep in the camp.

3 Days

We will get up early in the morning, have breakfast, and then continue toward the Azhdahak Mountain, the highest peak of the Geghama Mountain Range. The mountain is a volcano with a crater lake formed by melting snow. Azhdahak Mountain is 3,597 meters above sea level. We will climb to the top of the mountain and have panoramic views of Mount Ararat, Mount Hatis, Mount Ara, Mount Aragats, Lake Sevan and Geghama Mountain Range. We will set up our tents again and spend the night in our new camp.

4 Days

After the breakfast we will hike down to the village of Goght and check-in to the 3-star campsite with swimming pool. Tonight we will sleep in tents or private rooms (to be confirmed).

5 Days

We will go to the first camp of the Aragats Mountain at the altitude of 3200 meters by private vehicle from the camping area. Aragats Mountain is the highest mountain in Armenia with 4 peaks.

6 Days

We will wake up early to climb the 4,090-meter summit of Mount Aragatz. Between ascent and descent we will spend approximately 9 hours

7 Days

We devote this day to cultural tours or visiting the most interesting places of the capital of Armenia, Yerevan. During the tour we will visit the main streets and most interesting buildings of the city. We will also visit the Matenadaran manuscript warehouse where the ancient masterpieces are kept. These masterpieces are on the UNESCO Heritage List. From the Cascade (huge stairs leading to the upper neighborhood of the city), we will enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Ararat, later visiting the Genocide Monument, Tsitsernakaberd and Bazaar. We will return to our hotel and in the evening we will have dinner in a traditional Armenian restaurant accompanied by folk songs and dances. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Yerevan. Daily reserves in case bad weather conditions in the mountains do not allow us to plan ahead.

8 Days

After breakfast, go to Zvartnots International Airport, Yerevan with our team to complete the Ararat Travel service.
