Program

1 Day

We arrived at Yerevan Airport and transferred the group to a 3-star hotel in the Armenian capital. Rest for the day and night in Yerevan.

2 Days

After breakfast, we'll leave the hotel and pass through the village of Tsaghkashen at an altitude of 3,030 meters. We'll arrive at Lake Akna in the afternoon. We'll hike for about 7 hours each day. We'll set up a tent and sleep at the campsite.

3 Days

We'll wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and then continue towards Mount Ardahak via the Gogram route. Mount Ari Sahak is a volcano with a crater lake formed by snowmelt. Mount Ardahak is 3,597 meters above sea level. We'll climb to the summit and enjoy panoramic views of Mount Arara, Mount Hattis, Mount Ala, Mount Aragats, Lake Sevan, and Mount Gagam. We'll set up our tents again and spend the night at our new campsite.

4 Days

After breakfast we will head to the 3-star campsite with a swimming pool. Tonight we will sleep in tents or private rooms (to be confirmed).

5 Days

We will travel by private vehicle from the campsite to the first campsite on Mount Aragats, at an altitude of 3,000 meters. Mount Aragats is the highest peak in Armenia, with four summits.

6 Days

We'll get up early to climb to the summit of Mount Aragatz, which stands at 4,090 meters. The round trip will take approximately 9 hours.

7 Days

We dedicate this day to cultural tours, visiting the most interesting places in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. During the tour, we will visit the main streets and most interesting buildings of the city. We will also visit the Matnadaran Manuscript Repository, where masterpieces are kept. These masterpieces are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Leaving the city of Cascades, we will enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Ararat and visit the Genocide Memorial, Tsitsernakaberd, and the Bazaar. We will return to our hotel, and in the evening, we will have dinner at a traditional Armenian restaurant accompanied by folk songs and dances. Overnight stay in a 3-star hotel in Yerevan. Daily reservations are available in case of adverse weather conditions in the mountains that prevent us from planning ahead.

8 Days

After breakfast, head to Zvartnots International Airport, Yerevan with our team to complete the Ararat Travel service.

All transfers in the city and on the mountain. Spanish-speaking guide, as well as English, Turkish, and Kurdish. 2 nights in a three-star hotel in Yerevan. All meals and drinks during the trekking days. 4 nights in campsites, sleeping in 2-person tents with meals included. Shared tents between 2 people, with insulating mats. Climbing certificate and permits for mountain climbing. Cultural tours of Yerevan and Armenia with a local guide who speaks Spanish, as well as English, Turkish, and Kurdish.
