Trekking to Mount Suphan with Ararat Mountains This program allows us to get to know the two highest mountains in Turkey. First, we will climb Mount Süphan, which will help us acclimatize before going to Ararat. Mount Süphan, 4,058 meters high, stands out for its beauty and aesthetics. It is an impressive volcano that crowns Lake Van. The city of Van is located 180 km from Mount Ararat and has a historical and cultural center.

Program

1 Days

Arrival at Van airport. Transfer to the hotel. Visit to the historic center of Van. Accommodation.

2 Days

After breakfast we will drive to Süphan Mountain Camp at 2650 meters. On the way we will stop for a drink. At the camp we will set up our tents and have a barbecue dinner.

3 Days

We will reach the summit of Süphan 4058 mts. At about 1 am we will wake up and after a good breakfast that gives us strength we will begin the ascent. We will start at the foot of the mountain with a gentle walk. In about 6 hours we will be at the peak of Mount Süphan. We will take photos and begin the descent to the camp. After a rest, we will collect our equipment. Transfer by car to the hotel in Dogubayazit, the closest village to Mount Ararat. Accommodation. Hotel in Dogubayazit

4 Days

After breakfast, drive to an altitude of 2200 meters and then walk to Camp 1, which is at an altitude of 3300 meters, taking approximately 5 hours to reach Camp Mount Ararat. Night in a tent. Dinner.

5 Days

This day we will get up early to have breakfast and around 7 in the morning we will go up to camp 2. We will have dinner early and go to rest and enjoy the views of Ararat from camp 2 4200 meters high.

Day 6

At about 1 in the morning we wake up in groups and we will go to a dining tent to have dinner and after dinner we will start trekking to the top of Mount Ararat with its 5165 meters. After celebrating our summit we will go down and rest at Camp 2 in a few hours and return to Camp 1 for the night in Camp 1.

Day 7

Extra day in case bad weather has prevented us from meeting the above schedule or a day to visit the surroundings of Dogubayazit. Accommodation in a hotel* with breakfast in Dogubayazit. Dinner at leisure.

8 Days

We will have breakfast at the hotel. We will transfer to the airport to take the return flights. End of our services.
